Introduction :
The Goa College of Home Science (GCHS), established in July 1988, is the only College of Home Science in the State of Goa offering a three-year Degree Course – B.Sc. in Home Science. The Degree Course was initiated to facilitate the wholistic education of students in the field of Home Science under the Specialization Streams of Food, Nutrition and Dietetics, Textiles and Clothing, Human Development, and Community Resource Management so as to equip them with skills needed to pursue higher education in an area relevant to their future occupations. The College is funded by the State Government and is affiliated to Goa University
