Introduction :
The Goa State Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation Limited was established by the Government of Goa on 2/4/1990 under Companies Act, 1956. The Share Capital contribution of the State and the Central Government is in the ratio of 51:49 percent respectively.
The Corporation is working as State Channelizing Agency (SCA) to Four National Level Corporations namely :
- National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC)
- National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC)
- National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC)
- National Safai Karamchari Finance and Development Corporation
