Introduction :
The Goa Forest Development Corporation Ltd (GFDC) (A Govt. of Goa Undertaking) was constituted from the erstwhile cashew division of the Goa Forest Department and incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 (No. 1 of 1956) as a limited company by the government of Goa on 11th April, 1997.
The Main objectives of the corporation are to develop forest plantations, processing and marketing of produces and to promote Eco development and ecotourism.
Goa Forest Development Corporation Limited is a Public Company incorporated on 11th April 1997.
