This Institute was established in the year, March, 1973. This Industrial Training Institute was set up under the Directorate of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. This Scheme is affiliated to National/State Council for Vocational training (NCVT/SCVT), New Delhi/Goa through the Directorate General of Training (DGT), under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India, New Delhi. This Institute imparts training in Engineering and Non-engineering trades, as per the syllabus and curriculum approved by Government of India in consultation with the National/State Council for Vocational training (NCVT/SCVT), New Delhi/Goa
