Introduction :
This Institute was established in the year December 1980. This Institute imparts training to trainees in engineering and non-engineering trades, as per the syllabus and curriculum approved by the Government of India, Directorate General of Training (DGT) under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India, New Delhi
This institute presently runs 17 trades namely Draughtsman Civil, Electrician, Fitter, Wireman, Mechanic Diesel, Sewing Technology, Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA) and these trades are affiliated to NCVT (National Council Vocational training) New Delhi, India.
Whereas, Electronic Mechanic, Machinist, Multimedia Animation and Special effects (MASE), Fashion Designing & Technology, Plumber, Solar Technician, Welder, Cosmetology and Food Production (General) are affiliated to SCVT(State Council Vocational Training) Panaji-Goa.
The institute also conducts training under PMKVY- Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana for job role Craft Bakery.
