Ration Card

Mamlatdar of the concerned Taluka.

The applicant should put up his/her application to Mamlatdar of the concerned Taluka, where the applicant permanently resides, on any working day, and obtain an Acknowledgement Receipt for the same.

The applicant is also given a delivery date for his/her certificate, which is printed on the Receipt.

Apply on plain paper along with the prescribed Declaration Form. (Annexure H)

Enclose Cancellation Certificate obtained from the concerned Taluka Mamlatdar where earlier ration card was made.

If Cancellation Certificate is not available, apply along with a photograph and an affidavit stating that the applicant and his family members if any do not possess ration card in Goa or anywhere in India.

The application will be endorsed to the concerned Talathi for inquiry and report.

New Ration Card will be issued within 7 days.

Apply on plain paper.

Enclose the Certificate from the concerned Fair Price Shop.

Enclose an affidavit giving details of family members, residential address and reasons for seeking a duplicate ration card.

Attach a copy of a Challan of Rs.1/- deposited in treasury.

The duplicate Ration Card will be issued within 7 days, after getting the report from the Fair Price Shop.

Cancellation of name is done in case of death and/or if the person likes to cancel his name from the card.

 

Apply on plain paper indicating the name of the person which is to be cancelled.

In case of death, the Head of the family may submit necessary death certificate.

Enclose the original Ration Card.

The Cancellation Certificate is issued within 2 days after due deletion of name in the Ration Card.

No fee is charged for this service.
